I am a Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94027337) who specializes in understanding and treating traumatic experiences, whether one-time acute trauma or ongoing developmental childhood trauma. I work with you to untangle the web of confusing memories, triggering emotional responses, and relational difficulties that come from these adverse experiences as well as the symptoms associated with them, including: dissociation/multiplicity, identity confusion, anxiety, depression, and poor self-esteem.
I am an inclusive and affirming therapist, specializing in all things LGBTQIA+. I am formally trained in spirituality and integrating psychotherapy with different faith orientations; an area of specialty being religious harm and spiritual abuse. I am able to journey with you to learn new ways of being after leaving a faith tradition you may have once held closely (this also includes experiencing harm from high-control groups).
My style of therapy is relational and attachment oriented, focusing directly on early attachment ruptures and the deeper impact they might have on your current life situations and relationships. I recognize these attachment dynamics also play out in the therapeutic relationship and, together, we will use such moments to deepen your understanding of self in relation to others.
Knowing that traumatic experiences impact both our minds and our bodies, I specialize in somatic and brain-based approaches to therapy to offer integrative trauma healing. These approaches include training in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Polyvagal Theory.
I am passionate about truly attuning to you to better understand your lived experience in order to offer the best care possible. My hope is that you will feel both emotionally held and psychologically safe within our work so you can move toward wholeness and, ultimately, freedom.

I specialize in trauma, having received my training at Harbor UCLA’s trauma clinic and completing residency at SSM Health in the trauma rotation. More specifically, I treat sexual trauma/violation, religious trauma, trauma due to marginalization (such as LGBTQIA+ and/or racial trauma), early childhood trauma, and trauma from childbirth/postnatal trauma. I also specialize in those who identify as LGBTQIA+ by creating space to better understand one’s unique identity and working to integrate parts of self that may have been judged or cast off.
